Attribute-set-based Encryption(ASBE)

Abstract:

We construct an Attribute-set-based Encryption(ASBE) scheme supporting set-based operations over a dynamic set of attribute values. It allows the handling of any access structure represented by a boolean formula involving equivalent, inequivalent, set-membership, negation of set-membership, as well as logical AND and OR gates. The core of our scheme is the implementation of cryptographic representation of subsets by using two aggregation function:Zero-based aggregation and Poles-based aggregation. These two aggregation functions are capable of compressiong any subset into one element in a bilinear map for determining the membership between an element and a subset. We prove the security of our scheme based on the Extended General Diffie-Hellman Exponent(GDHE) assumption.
